Nessun Dorma’s location is as central as it gets. Perched on top of a typical street in Eixample, this home is surrounded by the city’s most famous eating and drinking establishments – plus, Casa Mila and Casa Batlló are only minutes away. This is a big home, furnished with high-end furniture and appliances, which gives it a classy character. There aren’t a lot of details or personal touches here, but the host got the broad strokes right, which creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Home truths:
* The master bedroom didn’t have shutters or curtains when we visited – the host has plans to fit them shortly
* Aside from a TV with local channels, this home doesn’t have a lot of entertainment options
* Although the kitchen is well-equipped with appliances, it doesn’t have the basic cooking ingredients
* The wardrobes are quite small – this home is better suited for a short stay
*City tax is payable upon arrival, €3.30 per person, per night – please ask your host about this
*If you check-in after 21:30 there is an additional late check-in fee – please let your host know when you plan on arriving
