Our expert tour guide will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza to Alexandria which is 220 km away from Cairo.
Arrive in Alexandria around 10 am and start your day tour by visiting the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, hewn into a cliff, one of the world’s largest Roman burial sites,
and one of Alexandria’s most popular attractions, where you see a blend of Pharaonic and Roman art. Descend into,
via a spiral staircase over a three-level tombstone, a large Roman-style banquet room, where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast in honor of the dead.
Proceed to the Roman Theater, of which seats are made out of marble stones and the floor
has a big section of mosaic and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman Villas and baths.

Our Alexandria day tour continues with a visit to the exterior of the medieval Citadel of Qaitbay,
a defensive 15-century fortress built on the ruins of the lighthouse of Alexandria; one of the ancient world’s seven wonders of the Middle Ages.
Continue to Al Mursi Abu Alabbas mosque(from outside), an elaborate structure built to honor a Sufi Saint, and have a free walk on the Cornish.
Drive along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, and pass by the Alexandria Modern Library, built between 1995 and 2002, to hold over 8 million books.
Have a chance to stop for a memorial photo in front of the great Library.
Take a break for lunch in a seafood restaurant overlooking the Sea. Finish your day tour at the gardens of Montaza (Salamlek palace, Haramlek palace,
a garden of 317 acres of huge trees and flowers, two 5* hotles-Helnan and Salamlek).
The beautiful coastline and all the views of the city are en route to Montaza Palace and gardens which is approx 25 km away,
including the old harbor of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater.
Once in Montaza Gardens, commonly known as the Love Garden (all romantic couples and families go there)
you will visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek (from outside)
as well as walk along the famous Montaza bridge and reach the Tea Palace island and see the royal beaches of the queens.
On your way back you will stop over the famous bridge of Stanley – the modern landmark of modern Alexandria,
built by Alexander the great, then travel in comfort back to your hotel in Cairo.
